About Q-Art London

Q-Art London was set up by Sarah Rowles, then in her second year of her art practice BA  at Goldsmiths (she is now in the third), in November 2008. Q-Art is a forum for students and graduates from across London's major art Universities as well as anyone else with an interest in art. Q-Art London’s purpose is to provide an additional and alternative learning environment to the institution; to break down the barriers between various art schools, their departments and levels of study, also allowing a crossing of perspectives; and to provide a place where graduates of these colleges can continue to present and critically discuss work in a familiar, supportive and critical environment. Q-Art also provides a place for those who have never been to art school, to get involved in a similar discussion to what goes on in art schools.
